Founded in 2005, Children of the Forest Foundation (COF) is a Thai Foundation working to provide protection, education, healthcare, and opportunities to migrant Karen and Mon children and mothers living in the Thai-Burmese border region of Sangkhlaburi.
Seeking
Skill/experience required
Teaching qualifications and/or experience preferred for English teaching role. For all roles experience working with children with limited English (particularly teens) is an advantage.
Age restrictions
No minimum age.
Length of placements
Recommend a 3 month commitment, but can consider shorter or longer placements depending of skills offered and COF’s current needs.
Support offered to volunteers
Usually provide lunch and can help in finding accommodation. Volunteers who have performed well are often considered for positions within the foundation.

- Art workshop leader – anyone creative who can share their skills with teens. Prefer film-makers,painters, graphic artists, music-makers, street artists and sculptors, street artists.
